DAY BY DAY
DAY 1: Your rental all-terrain vehicle will be waiting for you in the south of Poland. You arrange your own transport to Krakow Balice Airport, where we pick you up by transfer van.
Together we pick up the off-road vehicles. After a clear explanation on how to use your 4x4 car, we take a scenic drive through the beautiful Lower Beskid region.
This region is home to the longest mountain range in Poland. The Lower Beskids are part of the Carpathians, a central European chain of mountain ridges stretching across five countries, including Poland and Ukraine. We drive through the wonderful and hilly terrain to our first camping spot in the wild nature. We set up camp and enjoy a delicious outdoor meal. A cozy campfire under the starry sky offers the ideal opportunity to get to know the rest of the group.
DAY 2: After a nice breakfast and a good cup of coffee or tea we continue our journey. Via beautiful, winding roads we explore the former land of the Lemkos people, dotted with authentic monuments.
The Lemkos belong to an ethnic group of Carpathian mountain dwellers, whose culture was most closely related to that of the Ukraine. After WWII, the Lemkos were chased away from this part of Poland, but their distinctive architecture has been maintained. Some of their churches are even on the Unesco world heritage list.
We drive through the forests and fields via off-road tracks. Behind every hill lies a new panoramic view and of course you will get plenty of opportunities to take in the surroundings and take pictures. Narrow off-the-beaten-track paths lead to a place where you can taste regional delicacies, which are made in the traditional way, using ancient methods. The ideal ingredients for a nice picnic lunch in the outdoors.
The varied landscape of this lower part of the Carpathians offers fantastic views. Slowly but surely you will see the hills growing higher and the forests getting less dense. At the end of the afternoon we arrive at our camping spot in the open nature in the far southeast of Poland.
DAY 3: Today we cross the border into Ukraine. The beautiful Wild West of Ukraine offers stunning sites that are not accessible without a 4WD and therefore barely visited by tourists.
Imagine deserted valleys, mountain peaks with extraordinary views and hidden villages where people live their peaceful mountain life and men still ride a horse and cart. We get a taste of local cuisine and spend the night in a typical Ukrainian guest house.
DAY 4 AND 5: We continue on our expedition through the Carpathians. This part of Ukraine offers a unique opportunity to truly escape civilization. We drive over the barren ridges of the fairytale-like mountains and pass through villages where time seems to have stood still.
We follow trails which lead to breathtaking places that reach above the clouds. It is here that nature offers its most magical and exclusive wild camping spots. And if you’re lucky; an unforgettable sunset.
DAY 6: We cross the border to Poland and drive through the Bieszczady are. This region is sparsely populated and is one of the last rural areas in Europe, covered with ancient forests. We will drive on a mix of unpaved and asphalt roads. We sleep at a bed & breakfast surrounded by nature and enjoy a relaxing last evening.
DAY 7: After a leisurely breakfast we take one last drive with the 4x4s before returning the cars.
Every day is a new adventure. We have prepared a beautiful, adventurous route, but there may be some adjustments to the program along the way. We make sure we always arrive at the destination together, whichever track we take.

THE AUTHENTIC HEART OF EUROPE
Adventure is all about getting to know the unknown. It feels like Ukraine is far away, but geographically, this country lies right inthe heart of Europe. Time seems to have a slower pace here and many old customs and cultural traditions are still very much alive.
THE WILD WEST OF UKRAINE
The western part of Ukraine bordering Poland has never been part of the Soviet Union and is generally pro-Western. During your tour we drive through the far west of the country; far away from the troubled part of Ukraine that you see in the news. Our tour through the peaceful Carpathians offers phenomenal views and a unique glimpse into the region with its friendly people, wooden farmhouses and characteristic haystacks.
CALM AND SPACIOUS
Nature in this region is not designed and planned, but wild and untouched. We love it here, as it gives you a feeling of space and a sense of calmness. The peaceful landscape offers views without any trace of human civilization. The vast forests and distinct mountain ridges offer varied off-road tracks and fantastic wild camping spots, away from the inhabited human world.
THE RYTHM OF THE SEASONS
People here live to the rhythm of the seasons and many are largely self-sufficient. Cows and sheep graze the green fields and people take time to repair things that break. Remote villages often lack modern conveniences that we take for granted. Life can be tough in this region, but nevertheless you will be received with a friendly smile.
One thing is certain; you will be amazed by the natural beauty and the warm, welcoming locals of this relatively little visited region!
